lately, i just have visions, sounds and tastes and images that i spend my time stitching back together.
romanticizing the little bits, the clearly insignificant, but the comfort of which i compare to halos and feathers.
for, heaven seems to be a moment of peace that taunts me, forever out of my reach, it grazes my cheek with kisses that split and sever.
and the devil is in the relentless present, which breathes on my heels in moments that promise to fulfill and then are gone, leaving stormy weather.
and i don't know why there's no sun up in the sky. just keeps raining all the time, into rivers that pass me by.

all raucous jupiter evenings become quiet saturn mornings, and i sleep belly up in the soft green grass.
i get tangled in a morning panic from dream to waking light as rapid as the future is swiftly making a past.
orange street lamps glow, halogen spectres moan, my aching eyes on the road, endless in the twilight.
the tarmac slick with a pre-dawn mist, and the lonely freedom of a strange wish, and the horizon blooms into a fiery sunrise. this time is mine, i finally realize.
